Evans Racing in association with the Long Beach Police Athletic League ("PAL") have begun a program to bring cops and kids together in a positive environment.

The goal of the program is to have the youth of Long Beach take pride in helping to build an off road Class 7sx race truck.  Not only will this bring cops and kids together, but it will also give the youth of Long Beach opportunities that they may not have on the streets.  Currently we have 15-20 Officers that are willing to donate their time to work on this project with the kids and develop a positive relationship as well as a truck that is competitive in the off road race world.

The truck will be prepped and maintained by officers and kids who are enrolled in the PAL program.  The kids will also be given the opportunity to be in a chase vehicle during a race.  In order for the kids to be allowed in the program, they will need to have and maintain a "C" average in school.
